Local and regional rental services provide flexible vehicle options. Book early, especially during peak seasons, to secure the best rates and availability. This is a good option if you want to take a bus or train into Belleville then rent a car from there to explore Prince Edward County and the surrounding area. You can even start your car rental process closer to your home if you don’t want to take the train or bus into Belleville!

Uride is a ride-hailing app operating in PEC. Unfortunately Uber is not in the Belleville or Prince Edward County area but this app gives some of the convenience of Uber. Download the app on iOS or Android to access affordable and reliable rides. Uride is particularly helpful for trips to wineries or restaurants when driving isn’t ideal. It is important to note that Uride does not work as well as Uber or Lyft because of the more spread out supply and demand in the area. There are taxis in Prince Edward County and Belleville that can potentially help you get from one place to another, but much like Uride there are only so many taxis and a large amount of space to cover sometimes so make sure to either book ahead of set your expectations accordingly. If you end up staying with Fancie’s PEC you will want to double check that your chosen provider will be able to pick you up at our address before booking with them. Most of them do but we’ve received some feedback that some smaller operators do not pick-up all over Prince Edward County.
